| dc.description.abstract | This Capstone Project will start with an overview of Strategic Management, guided by the structure provided by Strategy Safari: A Guided Tour through the Wilds of Strategic Management by Henry Mintzberg, Bruce Ahlstrand and Joseph Lampel (2005). The Capstone Project will then proceed into the Case Study -- a history of the Magnes and recent attempts at strategic planning using outside consulting firms with a review of benchmark data. At the end of the Magnes Case Study, I will review a current plan for the Magnes that was initiated, crafted and cultivated by internal staff and based on a concept I developed. Lastly, I will attempt to identify some of the potential triumphs and pitfalls the near-tomidrange future portends. In summary, I will write a bit about my personal goals and aspirations. | |
