Abstract

Working in a school setting has been changing rapidly with the evolution of technology. Although the benefits of technology are plentiful, the phenomenon of cyberbullying has entered into the lives of adolescents. The literature has shown that cyberbullying is prevalent and has severe and sometimes deadly consequences. Clearly, parents must take an active role in their children's activities that use technology. The more active and involved parents are, the more likely their children will be safe. Schools also play an important role in supporting parents, allowing them to become responsible and proactive in fighting against the cyberbullying epidemic.
