Abstract

Using a mixed methods approach (Creswell, 2009); both quantitative and qualitative analyses, this study focused on employees at the Software Company (SC) who feel most engaged with their jobs, and those who feel least. These specific categories were identified through Salanova's (2005) Organizational Resources and Work Engagement Scale with an additional question regarding job satisfaction (See Appendix D). The quantitative portion of the study was completed via survey and the qualitative analysis was performed using a grounded theory approach.
