The purpose of this project was to encourage art museums to make their collections more meaningful to family visitors through the use of self-guided, hands-on activity kits. Specifically, this project resulted in the production of a framework that provides recommendations for the development and implementation of self-guided, hands-on activity kits for families. For this project, "family" was defined as any group having at least one adult and one child.
