Abstract
The word "reflections" is included in the title of my thesis. One definition of this word is "a conclusion reached after much thought." My process of translating a dream or a fantasy into something visible involves much thought and consideration, but I also allow unexpected things to happen along the way. In my art work, I combine historical research, textile techniques, and psychology. I observe and I'm involved at the same time, as my materials and myself go through some kind of transformation.
