Abstract

The primary purpose of this study was to explore the experience and results of the coaching experience from the perspective of functional technical managers who were coached (coachees) and the impact of coaching on their emotional intelligence. The researcher explored if and how the coaching experience actually improved the coachees' El and their work relationships and whether they sustained what they learned after the coaching program ended. Accordingly, the researcher interviewed people who completed their coaching program six or more months earlier.
