Abstract
How we teach health or, more accurately, how we facilitate health education is an important factor in ensuring sustainable change. Education is not merely the imparting of expert knowledge but, more importantly, encourages a deeper internal understanding of what is being taught. Intentionally facilitated experiences designed to foster self-awareness can create a powerful foundation for developing an internal awareness of our health. This paper explores the importance of self-awareness, intentionally facilitated experience, and group interaction within health education.
