Abstract
In the interim between the dissolution of the old paradigm and the final emergence of the dominant new one, many possibilities appear. This is the time for exploration and testing of radically new or different ideas which often seem to contradict each other, an apt description of our own present situation and time.
With this in mind, the present study was undertaken in the hope that a comparative analysis of complete and totally different models of healing using the components of the evolving models of life, health and disease (Miles, 1983) would serve to help clarify the paradigm shift.
