Abstract
This study explored the increase in leadership skills as a result of coaching and how that improves overall organizational effectiveness. Six executives were interviewed using methods designed to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. There were four major areas of change for the executives: (1) evolved sense of self, (2) importance of teamwork, (3) increased ability to prioritize, and (4) increased ability to improve the development of others. The results demonstrated that executive coaching is an effective method of leadership development and organizational effectiveness.
