Abstract
This thesis explores and addresses Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in serving and retired female Canadian Forces (CF) personnel due to operationally based service. This thesis is structured with an introduction, literature review, methodology, and recommendations and conclusion. The thesis was originally designed to be a pilot study interviewing female military personnel, both retired and serving, who have experienced PTSD due to operationally based service. Due to a refusal by the CF to allow such research, the pilot study was cancelled and the thesis was confined to a literature review.
