| dc.description.abstract | The contemporary Women's Movement has had a profound impact on the lives of many women, as well as on their artistic productivity. In this paper, I will examine the relationship between Feminism, artistic commitment and the spirit to create by looking at some of the cultural events, art and educational process that has come out of the Women's Movement during the past decade. The significance of these activities will be explored, as will a closer examination of the art work of one particular artist who lived within this context, i.e. myself. | |
