The technology industry is one that has been drastically affected by the recent downturn in the economy. Almost all companies in this sector have seen their financial performance decline by large numbers, seen their market shares decrease, laid off employees, and tried to execute new strategies to help their organization survive through these tough times. One company that continues to fare well in this current economic climate is Dell. Despite the industry's poor performance as a whole, Dell remains the leader in PC market.
