Abstract

Through this master's project, my hope is that the reader was able to gain better insight into art museums' current efforts to engage young adults through public programs for visitor and museum relationship longevity. Through a review of literature, 10 museum professional interviews, and a case study of The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco' de Young Museum, this thesis sought to provide tangible examples and solutions for museums' future programming efforts to create art museum sustainability.
