Abstract
The purpose of this capstone is to examine the relationship between school principals' instructional leadership, teacher self-efficacy, and using inquiry to improve efficacy. Research has shown that efficacious teachers have a positive outcome on student achievement. This capstone also highlights some of the challenges faced by school leaders in a rural Alberta context and the impact of those challenges on their ability to carry out instructional leadership.
