dc.description.abstractThe differences in strategic planning and management among photovoltaic / semiconductive manufactures', utilizing traditional Silicon or Gallium manufacture, were investigated and results compiled to determine if any or all are a factor in determining the style(s) of strategic planning with management and whether those results would determine whether the company would be in position to remain in the industry and maintain a profit. The resulting conclusion indicated that an organization that has strong managerial leadership will implement and be more proactive to the organizations strategic planning much more successfully over that of one which only utilizes manager levels to chart and report the progress of the strategic planning. Additionally, organization hierarchy utilizes the information passed on by the various levels (workforce) to managers to become more creative in utilizing ingenuity to remove obstacles to the organizations strategic plan and goals.
