Abstract
The purpose of this master's project was to assist the staff members of small- to mid-size museums in determining whether reproduction and sale of collection objects would be right for their museum. Specifically, the project resulted in a booklet that includes information on reproducing objects for sale, descriptions of legal issues involved, and an overview of other issues involved in reproduction programs. The booklet is intended to provide museum staff with enough basic knowledge to decide if the museum is ready to get involved in reproducing objects for sale.
