Abstract
This master's project explores intersection of three disciplines: museum studies, art, and technology. In my initial research of the topic, I had trouble pinpointing the exact terminology to describe what I was learning about. There is "digital art", "New Media art" and "variable media art", all with overlapping ideas behind the terms. But regardless of terminology, the idea behind the artwork belongs to the artists who are creating it and they have ideas about how the museum can best present and preserve it. It is essential to begin this communication and knowledge sharing now.
