CHARTING THE ISSUES OF UNITED STATES HISTORIC SITE LIGHTHOUSES

Abstract

To assist this growing museum genre, it is time to critically assess historic site lighthouse issues from a museum studies perspective. It is intended this project will serve as a valuable resource to the lighthouse community and bring an awareness to the entire museum profession on this currently overlooked unique type of historic maritime site.
