Abstract

There were two goals to the research project. One goal was to discover the psychological meanings expressed by the individuals interviewed and how participants were affected by change. Although these business transactions may initially be very positive for the companies involved people may experience negative reactions. The second goal was to better understand what might be missing in the management of human resources that could help achieve a higher success rate for both the company and its employees. This research addresses how individuals experienced the phenomenon of change. This project will be particularly relevant to people who work with, and manage employees. The research's intent is to search for meanings through the experience of an M&As, and share these learning's with people who manage others. It is possible that this might contribute to a higher success rate fon employees of M&As.
