Abstract
This thesis addresses the inner changes I have experienced during my training in the counselling psychology program at City University of Seattle. Using heuristic research methods, I address spiritual and experiential shifts that I have noticed with respect to how I relate to and connect to myself and others in my personal and professional life. I integrate this with my educational journey. The relationship between student, teachers, and educational material is explored. Implications and suggestions for future study, new students, counsellors, educators, and institutions are offered.
