Abstract
This author unmasks the secrets and lies that have eroded the Black woman's trust in the medical profession. This paper serves to enlighten the healthcare industry about their own stereotypes and images of Black women that have remained unnamed and unacknowledged. These images, behavior, and ideas are brought out into the open to elicit mutual healing and to increase the level of medical care that these women receive.
