Abstract
The process of developing a slide-tape presentation is outlined in the following chapters. Chapter One gives background information on the small Mexican Museum. Chapter Two observes various audiences who attend slide lectures and mural tours at the Mexican Museum. Chapter Three follows with observations of three California museums slide-tape presentations and how differing aspects of their productions may or may not relate to the Mexican Museum's presentation. Chapter Four explores the development of slide-tape imagery and is followed by an examination of audiovisual equipment in Chapter Five. Chapter Six reviews audience behavior and questions asked after viewing the slide-tape presentation. Both the slide lecture and slide-tape audiences are compared in Chapter Seven followed by conclusions in Chapter Eight.
