Near the end of completing the 'Socially Responsible" MBA curriculum, as presented by JFKU, my consciousness had undoubtedly expanded enough to watch for purposeful opportunities. In the spring of 2009 an opportunity emerged, putting me in a position to assist on a greater level. Setting the process in motion was initiated by making personal decisions to act on the new socially responsible and sustainable awareness obtained during the course work. This lead to a golden opportunity to collaborate with others whom innovatively problem solve, are aligned with a worthwhile vision, and have come up with a sustainable and socially responsible solution to assist in insuring the supply of fresh drinking water. On the most fundamental level it was personal development, strategically managing my own life with systemic management application and influence that led to crossing paths with Karyn Evens and the development of a case study of Energy Recovery Inc. an organization who is socially centered, and people centered allowing collaborative work efforts to generate profit with a triple bottom line perspective.
