Alchemical rebirth: a genesis journey

Abstract

This paper is an inquiry into the themes that became important to the transformation I experienced through dreams, and the application of psychological alchemy to art. I will discuss the relationship of these modalities to my personal transformation as an artist and as an individual. I will discuss the use of Jungian free-association writing and mark-making in small group process environments. In conclusion, I will review ideas for practical applications that would facilitate my participation in a community that is suitable to my introverted personality type.
