Abstract
The topic of love within the therapeutic relationship has historically been identified as controversial taboo, unprofessional and even unethical. This writing serves to diminish negative casts associated with therapists conveying love within the counselling relationship. Data will be collected through a compilation of a number of journal articles and books. The basis of this writing is based off the authors own experiences and the experiences of others working in the field of counselling psychology.
