Abstract
Questioned document examiners are required to analyze writing samples by foreign-born individuals. Substantial knowledge and understanding of foreign class characteristics is necessary to make an accurate analysis. This study provides data concerning the specific characteristics found in Vietnamese-born individuals. The statistical results are presented with displays and graphs, all of which should aid a document examiner as he or she determines the class and individual characteristics of persons whose writing they are evaluating. This will be significant as it will produce more accurate analysis of writing samples and will help to eliminate false findings in handwriting comparisons.
