Abstract
Corporate social responsibility is something that is becoming demanded of many large companies. When first thinking of corporate social responsibility it is a hard to really expect corporations to adhere to this demand from customers - after all, their main responsibility is to shareholders and making a profit. Corporate social responsibility is practically giving away money, taking from profits. Starbucks is a company that is largely in the public eye, and scrutinized as such on a regular basis. Yet when researching the extent of which Starbucks is socially responsible, it is quite extensive. The surprising thing about it all is the lack of publicity to their social responsibility connections.
