Abstract
In this paper, I explore the mainstream and alternative cancer literature and compare the effectiveness of natural and conventional cancer treatments in the United States. Using a case study as an example of the synthesis of alternative and conventional treatments of cancer, I report on the problems that I faced integrating these two medical treatments for cancer. Additionally, through the case study, I provide information to help natural and conventional practitioners, people with cancer and the people who care for them, add alternative methods to their treatments to increase the chances of a complete cancer cure. The paper is written with the intent to educate about cancer treatments, debunk the myth that cancer is incurable cancers, and help people release their fears and start to take responsibility for their own cures.
