This investigation will be conducted by briefly examining the five themes or constructs of the PERMA model, which will be used as a framework for understanding the relationship between martial arts and MHOs. Each theme will then be examined within the context of supporting literature and then applied within the context of martial arts literature. The overall result will be a robust understanding of martial arts and their correlated MHOs within the context of the PERMA lens.
