Abstract
Discussing the nature of causality as it pertains to morphic field theory, sychronicity theory, holographic theory, the edge of chaos theory and complexity theory, will help illustrate how each tries to explain the cause and effect of the natural laws in the universe. Morphic field theory starts with the premise that there are no laws of nature--simply habits. The edge of chaos is a perfect place for evolutionary advancements, a place that balances with precise control. Each of the four theories that I will discuss have a slightly different slant on the nature of reality. I will examine each theory and explain what inspired the leading scientists in new physics and computer science to put forth their theory on the cause of our physical reality.
