Abstract
This paper is intended as an accompaniment to the body of artwork which is presented as the thesis project fulfilling the requirements for a master's degree in Consciousness Studies. It is not intended to explain or define any of the pieces of art, but exists to comment on the process and purpose of the artist in creating the artwork. The sources of much of the commentary are new concepts which have come from modern physics as interpreted by Fritjof Capra, David Bohm and others, as well as from the philosophy and process theories of Dane Rudhyar, Arthur Young, and Ken Wilber. The artwork is interwoven with a contextural framework of these ideas.
