Abstract

The road map for how this information is addressed throughout the rest of the document is as follows. Carl G. Jung's typology theory's main tenants, history and inspiration to Isabel Briggs Myers are discussed. Also included in the MBTI section is how the tool is used, why the tool is used and who is using it. From there we lead into the groups of yoga styles I have chosen and a description of why they are grouped as such. Acquainted with both Myers Briggs (MB) and Hatha yoga styles, I present my hypotheses of compatibility matches between yoga and MB, giving you the Myers Briggs Yoga Types (MBYT). The final destination is for me the most important: a multi-method approach to researching the validity and potential avenues behind my MBYT.
