dc.description.abstractThis chapter is dedicated to finding the most successful strategies and tools for positive mentor-teacher/teacher-candidate matches. While the tools have remained much the same throughout the years, they have become more sophisticated and potentially virtual. The importance of mentoring in teacher preparation cannot be underscored, and the match between current and potential teacher is of the utmost importance. This chapter examines the significance of a positive and successful mentor/mentee match and what it takes to get to that status.
