Abstract
The Middle East has been a topic of interest for many years. Constant observation is conducted not only by the United States, but also by other allied countries. Some believe Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan are ticking time bombs ready to go off at any time. United States troops are primarily in Afghanistan at the moment. Due to cultural restrictions our male troops are forbidden any contact whatsoever with the women of Afghanistan. This has caused quite a dilemma. Female troops are needed in ground combat units, but due to current restrictions are denied entry.
