The study for this thesis could not have been completed without the willingness and cooperation of the participants. Each one put forth great effort in completing a month-long study and took the time to share their experiences. Thanks to my family, Raul, Debbie, Jennifer, and Jessica who supported me from the first word to the last period. Much appreciation goes out to my peers in the graduate program who helped me through the ups and downs of such a project. Last, but certainly not least, a big thanks to Dr. Rhodius, who has shown much care and support throughout my experience as a graduate student.
