Abstract

This research project is an attempt to take a deeper look into the aspects that help contribute to the relationship between certain pornographic influences on individual sexual practices. Specifically, its purpose is to decipher whether or not subjects who view violent sexually explicit materials on a regular basis are more at risk of accepting behaviors which pertain to a sexually aggressive nature. Several possibilities of study are surveyed in an effort to help identify key factors that could also play an influential role within this review. In reviewing other available statistical data this publication will seek to draw conclusions on whether the aforementioned is correct or not, especially when pertaining to a specific geographical location such as rural or urban areas and what, if any, bearing that has on the acceptance of sexually violent behavior.
