Abstract

My purpose in writing these pages is to re-state the healing merit of dreaming as a natural part of our daily existence. I have done this by resurrecting some of the lost dreaming and healing traditions of other cultures and times, and introducing new ones to our contemporary world. In the following 5 chapters, you will find a weaving of personal dream images, my own discoveries and inventions surrounding dreamwork and concepts which I have gathered from other dream artists and workers. My personal contributions to the pool of dream work include the Diurnal Cycle in Chapter IV, dream art processes in Chapter III, using the mandala form and personal ritual surrounding the creation of dream art for the developing artist in each of us.
