Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore physical activity breaks during the classroom day. The focus is to see if the exercises will improve academic achievement on pencil and paper tests. In addition, while providing acceptable movements during lecture and deskwork, the exercises should allow more opportunities for all students to gain positive attention from peers and teachers, thereby creating a better learning environment. And finally, another goal of this study is to observe any changes in student behavior and by using teacher observations, student journals, surveys, and interviews, discover if any changes occur with regard to their overall school experience.
