Abstract

As it has been discussed, the success of the team and organization on the field directly affects the financial make-up and future competitive advantage of the organization. The Dallas Cowboys have had no trouble in recent years selling tickets and developing marquee venues for the enjoyment and entertainment of NFL fans across the nation. It is important, however, that Jerry and his staff cater to the Dallas faithful and secure brand loyalty so that the right fans are coming to the stadium and continuing the Cowboys' legacy as America's Team and the dominant force in football. The action plan discussed thus far enables the franchise to develop its athletic team in such a way that replacing the marquee personnel members can be seamless and financially responsible for the future. While the Cowboys have been favorably known as a team with glitz and glamour, the new regime of consistency and results on the playing field will establish them as a better franchise for the future. There is no question that they are financially stable, and even the front runner in terms of profitable sport's teams in the United States (Ozanian, 2014) the on-field production will help secure it for some time in the future. The Ozanian report also mentions that while leading the United States football franchises, the Cowboys still remain in second globally behind Soccer's Real Madrid meaning there is still a competition to be had for global leadership.
