Abstract
This research draws upon emerging literature on emotional intelligence applications to effective leadership styles in organizations. This study employs a grounded theory methodology to examine the role of emotional intelligence in leadership effectiveness. The practical and/or theoretical implications of this project would be to link emotionally intelligent competencies to leadership styles.
