Abstract
This qualitative study examined the phenomenon of stress and burnout as it occurred in care givers and explored ways to manage that within the realm of HIV/AIDS care. The literature review explored the phenomenon of stress and burnout, typical symptoms of stress and burnout as manifested in HIV/AIDS workers and ways to manage and/or prevent the symptoms in this particular population.
