Abstract
This paper takes an in-depth look at the images, symbolism, and other elements of a single piece of art: a needle-made tapestry titled The Fulfillment of Prophecy. The work is based on personal references, popular culture, and Tibetan cosmology. It further discusses the use of light-reactive fibers in the creation of this work. The work uses poetry created by the artist as text for the tapestry. An introduction talks about the author's early life as a stage for the development of his aesthetics and his ideas of time, change, and transformation as motivating factors in his work.
