Abstract
This study first looks at a brief history of marijuana and how it came to being. It then presents a look at arugments for and against the legalization of marijuana. The paper then looks at what marijuana is and some of its uses and finally looks at the impact it will possibly have on teenagers if legalized. The hypothesis of this paper is that legalization may have many advantages, but there are also disadvantages, and there is a need for a change in the law that will consider and balance the need for change with social and political concerns.
