Abstract
The purpose of this master's project is to examine the changing leadership paradigm of three museum directors who are implementing change within their museums in response to today's rapidly changing world. The project will provide candid discussions of the director's perceptions of their leadership roles in the process of change. The final product of this master's project will be a publication designed to help museum directors understand their leadership roles and to promote inquiry and actions that will move them closer to achieving their personal and professional goals. The product recounts the testimonials of the three museum directors, presents key elements of the leadership paradigm for the successful museum director of the future, and provides a resource bibliography and networking information.
