Abstract

This study will attempt to identify unclear expectations of any form, whether they are unclear to the employee, to the manager, or to both. Through this research into the relationship between job stress and unclear expectations of employees, I hope to explore the.impact of unclear expectations on employee performance, including how employees deal with the consequences of this lack of clarity. If a relationship between ambiguous job expectations and stress can be clarified, organizations would be provided with a process, the mutual clarification of job expectations, to help manage their employees' stress levels.
