Abstract
Ajna Salon and Day Spa will be a new upscale destination offering a wide range of services that is not available at most salons making it easy for a customer to get what they want with a complete day spa experience. Ajna will promote a relaxing contemporary atmosphere where clients can come to get spa, hair and makeup services. In my case study, I will be discussing the business structure, vision, mission as well as product and management practices. I will also be discussing my business philosophy including my personal social entrepreneurship principles. I will provide a detailed description of the business model including the organizational structure, culture, and core values. I will discuss the managerial approach and I will discuss human resources, workforce and concept of employee engagement. I will review the competition in the immediate area and how Ajna salon and spa differs from the competition offering value to our clientele. After reviewing my marketing and financial strategy I will discuss my projections for Ajna over the next couple of years and the challenges I foresee coming up. This plan is designed to provide a stable business foundation and with the right motivation, will definitely expand. The main focus of the salon is to give my clients an experience which relaxes the mind, body and spirit with a natural repair to skin and hair. With the right management strategy in place, I can create a salon experience that has a definite competitive advantage above the rest. Through open communication and precise planning and collaboration I will create the ultimate business.
