The purpose of this study is to explore the issue of infertility. Infertility is not just a medical problem. It is a deeply personal issue that impacts women socially and emotionally in many ways. The presence of health care providers who are empathic and sensitive to the experiences of women is a key aspect of the infertility process. This research provides a framework of understanding of infertility issues so that medical and mental health professionals can respond to women with greater sensitivity and efficacy.
