Abstract

The primary purpose of this study is to explore the impact of nonprofit culture on making requests, from the perspective of female executive directors in the nonprofit sector. The researcher will explore if and how female nonprofit leaders make requests in their organizations and what impact the nonprofit culture has on the way they make requests. Study participants will be asked to give examples that demonstrate how they do or do not make requests, and how they perceive either nonprofit culture and/or gender impacting the methods they use to do so. The research will be focused on discovering participant's perspectives of the impact of nonprofit culture and/or gender on making requests.
