The purpose of this thesis is to encourage a balanced and holistic approach to the treatment of adolescent (13-18 years) anorexia nervosa, by proposing a protocol that integrates psychoeducation, family therapy and mindfulness. This thesis also addresses AN's significant medical complications. Literature review and conceptual analysis are employed as the research methodologies. Ideas on how to work with adolescents from within the proposed paradigm are offered.
