Abstract

Adam and Eve choosing to eat from the tree of knowledge symbolized man's decent from nature into the world of industry and free will. The promise of industry to solve all our problems is illusive since we are symbiotic beings of Earth and cannot separate ourselves without dire consequences to the health of all living beings. In order to find true health and happiness, we must return to our sacred purpose of being Earth's stewards instead of her masters. We can regain our power to heal ourselves and the Earth by coming together as a community with our unique contributions, honoring our sacred purpose to protect the Earth for future generations, honoring the sacredness within, and reconnecting in communion with nature. As sacred beings we are meant to walk a sacred path of honor and compassion for the sake of all life, especially ourselves.
